Incumbent has to carry the screening and auditing of the daily services provided by the Facility management, in order to ensure a high level of hygiene at ABDALI MALL FACILITY and to report any dissatisfactory performance immediately to the operations manager. Additionally, to make sure that the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene is delivered and lives up to the Mall’s standards, within the contract specifications and to the agreed performance levels.

Responsibilities & Essential Duties
The following duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature of work rather being exhaustive list of duties and responsibilities.
Make certain that agreed standards of cleanliness and hygiene are met throughout the Mall.
Make certain that health and safety measures are implemented and conform to the standards.
Review work reports prepared by operations personnel and redirect it to operations manager.
Review cleanliness measures, schedules and tasks provided by Facility Management provider to ensure coverage to all premises needs and requirements.
Make certain that staff, tenants or customer’s special requests are answered promptly.
Carry out daily inspections to ensure Facility Management personnel cleaning the premises effectively to the agreed performance level and ensure that said staff follows health and safety measures and procedures.
Have full working knowledge of the areas in the Mall which are covered by the services provided by facility management.
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards and safety measures.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with facility management personnel, staff and customers.
Ensure that all provided consumables by the facility management conform to the agreed specifications and standard.
Communicate with others using clear and professional language.
Carry out daily cleaning audits to monitor facility management personnel performance and adherence to the contract and Mall standards.
Report any faults or noncompliance to operations manager.
Prepare and review written documents entirely and correctly.
Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
Follow the mall guidelines as to the identification and reporting of health and safety hazards e.g., blocked/locked fire doors.
Ensure a high standard of personnel hygiene and appearance, wearing company uniform as specified.
Attend any meetings or training courses as instructed.
Carry out other reasonable tasks as directed by superiors.
Comply with all AMC policies/procedures.
Skills and Abilities:

Good communication skills.
Good understanding of the English Language (oral & written).
Awareness of customer service skills.
Physically fit.
Ability to demonstrate sounds judgment under pressure.
Ability to learn new concepts quickly in an effective manner.
Knowledge of international standards pertaining to housekeeping and waste management is a plus.
Demonstrates sound work ethics
Ability to use computer and a good command of Microsoft office and excel.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or a related field of study is required.

Experience:
Experience of 3-5 years in housekeeping or related filed.
Experience in housekeeping in a hotel setting is preferred.
