Queen Rania Teacher Academy is seeking to hire part-time education/supervision/training specialists in the following subject areas: Math, Arabic, English, Science and Social Studies.

Candidates are expected to have excellent communication & computer skills, and are fluent Arabic & English speakers.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a related field.

• A minimum of 3 years in education/teaching/training/supervision and teacher support.

Trainer

• Work with project manager and technical team to design and plan training activities.

• Lead training workshops and report on participants’ feedback.

• Work with project technical team to review the program implementation plan and its impact.

• Design, plan and implement effective teacher support activities.

• Design data collection sheets.

• Work with the project technical team and partners to develop selection criteria, protocols, templates and datasheets for the network program.

• Follow-up on the integrity and update of the project databases.

• Lead school selection process including school visits, interviews, collecting baseline information and preparing relevant reports.

• Work closely with QRTA team and partners to develop and enhance the project activities.

• Contribute to the revision of the materials.

• Explore and lead strategies to promote effective teacher learning communities in participating schools.

• Compile and share with other network teams the lessons learnt and effective network strategies and practices.

• Prepare reports relating to the project and submit them to the direct supervisor.

• Maintain documents, records, files and reports related to the work and update them continually.

• Undertake any relevant tasks or responsibilities within the scope of his/her specialization as assigned by the direct supervisor.

Qualifications:

• University degree in relevant field

• At least 10 years’ experience in education field

• Extensive experience in teacher trainings

• Extensive experience in teacher support

• Experience in designing, mentoring and supervising training programs

• Understanding  key issues related to the education sector in Jordan

• Ability to manage and work effectively with large groups of educators in the implementation of education programs and activities

Senior Media and Communications Officer

  • Develop and implement QRTA’s annual media plan in accordance with the overall driving mission, vision, programs, projects, services, and overall strategic and action plans.
  • Coordinate between all QRTA departments to ensure all-encompassing online and offline coverage and outreach.
  • Cater media activities and engagements to the different stakeholders engaged with QRTA.
  • Establish QRTA’s media and branding handbook and ensure the guidelines are communicated with and implemented by QRTA staff, partners, and donors.
  • Profile QRTA and its objectives, programs, projects, and services in the most suitable media channels to reach targeted audience and stakeholders
  • Constantly identify ways and areas to expand QRTA’s outreach and exposure to all identified stakeholders in close coordination with QRTA’s management and academic team.
  • Identify all QRTA activities (internal and external) and ensure suitable coverage to each occasion in coordination with the Media & Communications Assistant and the Strategic Development Director.
  • Participate in coordinating with media and advertising agencies with respect to implementing the approved QRTA Media Strategy.
  • Actively oversee all social media and website updates and activities to ensure quality and adherence to the annual plan.
  • Create and maintain QRTA document templates to ensure maximum exposure in internal and external activities and events.
  • Lead executing all promotional activities and events organized by QRTA, as well as prepare press releases and media advisories.
  • Build and maintain solid relationships with local and regional media representatives in order to monitor, follow up with, and document the news of QRTA.
  • Create and dispatch QRTA’s monthly newsletter to the contacts database.

  • Adhere to the implementation of approved systems, procedures and instructions in the course of performing his/her duties as Senior Media & Communications Officer.
  • Design, implement and oversee the media strategy of QRTA’s annual conference, the Teacher Skills Forum. The Senior Officer should observe political and national education trends to aid in the implementation process, come up with different approaches to expand the participant base, and actively participate in developing theme of the year. The Senior Officer will also handle invitation lists, accounting and attending to media partners’ needs and requests before, during and after the forum.
  • Perform any additional tasks as assigned by the Strategic Development Director

Qualifications:

  • 4 – 6 years of experience in a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in media and communications/public relations/marketing or similar.
  • Speaks and writes Arabic and English exceptionally well.
  • Has a strong background in social media, as well as public and media relations.
  • Outspoken, works on initiative, and actively participates in meetings and discussions.
  • Works well within a team-oriented organization.
  • Is flexible, committed, and able to perform multiple technical tasks at any time.

Receptionist

  • Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately
  • Answer, screen and forward any incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed
  • Receive and sort daily mail/deliveries/couriers
  • Maintain security by following procedures and controlling access
  • Update appointment calendars and schedule meetings/appointments

Education Technology Supervisor

  • Manage the development of online and computer based training materials, courses, technology tools, and workshops,
  • Propose and implements education solutions and education support software and applications,
  • Deliver training on how to use those solutions, applications and software,
  • Supervise the development and maintenance of QRTA portal and tools.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems and train staff
  • Develop and evaluate related TORs, RFPs, technical proposals and Communicate with bidders and vendors

Accountant

Job Description

1. Undertaking financial administration;
2. Liaising with managerial staff, colleagues and clients;
3. Ensuring compliance with taxation legislation.
4. Prepare, examine, and analyse accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
5. Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements.
6. Establish tables of accounts, and assign entries to proper accounts.
7. Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology.
8. Prepare forms for accounting and bookkeeping personnel, and direct their work activities.
9. Advise management about issues such as resource utilization, tax strategies, and the assumptions underlying budget forecasts.
10. Advice employees and clients in areas such as compensation, payments, tax issues, cheques and other issues as requested.
