“Agency Supervisor- Collections & Recovery”

Please note the below :

    Job Purpose:

To Collect Recoveries of Skip accounts for assigned products as per agreed monthly Performance objectives.

Reports directly to : Manager, Skip Recoveries

    Job Dimensions

To handle Skip accounts allocated to External agencies.

    Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities

To manage collection & recovery for assigned product and to ensure monthly performance objectives of cash collections from external collection agencies are met.
Follow-up on Skip Recoveries through collection agencies.
Ensure skip customers are traced using valid and permissible means.
Ensure daily calling to defaulted customers with regular follow up and negotiation on overdue payments.
Ensure follow–up with customer for account settlements.
Ensure all customer enquiries are promptly and accurately handled in a polite and courteous manner.
To Prepare and Analyse skip collection MIS for assigned accounts on a regular basis
Follow-up by field visit to external collections agencies and Customers for better Recoveries.
Meet monthly skip Collection Targets.
Maintain skip monthly recovery MIS on all the Collection Agencies.
Ensure capturing of required customer details in the required format with accurate information is done on a regular basis and trail update detailing customers conversation etc. are sent for updation in collection system.
To ensure regular duties related to smooth Management of assigned portfolio are handled efficiently.

Specialist Skills required for the job

Sound collection techniques and MIS skills
Sound Decision making and Change management skills.
Good negotiation and networking skills with internal and external customers.
Good knowledge of legal and regulatory procedures for debt recovery.
High standard of oral and written communication skills.

    Qualification:

Graduates with minimum experience of 3 to 4 years in same industry (Preferred Collection & Recovery experience within a bank) or in customer handling areas in banks or any others organization.
