Postpaid Marketing Specialist

1.1           Job Purpose:

The Postpaid Marketing Specialist is responsible to:

  • Manage Umniah GSM postpaid plans targeted for both Consumer & Corporate Segments.
  • Build and customize special pricing and promotional cases to position Umniah as a first choice of selection.
  • Monitor & control churn rates for each pricing plan.
  • Build loyalty & retention matrix to maximize the Life Time Value for each GSM postpaid subscriber.
  • Continuously monitor all market activities with an ongoing update for the competition matrix and heat map to ensure that Umniah commercial offers always have a competitive edge.
  • Achieve assigned budget targets & revenues.
  • Make sure of the availability of all related marketing materials in all touch points.

1.2          Responsibilities:

  • Manage GSM Postpaid Base
  • Manage GSM Packages\Plans\Promotion pricing
  • Manage GSM Postpaid customer acquisition
  • Manage GSM Postpaid customer retention
  • Manage GSM Postpaid portfolio management
  • Lead the design of the GSM Postpaid services roadmap consistent with other teams roadmaps
  • Manage the development and launch of GSM Postpaid Plans based on this roadmap, and track the value created

1.3          Requirements:

  • Education : Bachelor Degreee in Marketing/Business/Engineering or any related field.                                 MBA in business or markeying is an advantage.
  • Work Experience : 4 – 8 years in Telecom industry specialy in GSM postpaid (Marketing) or any other related industriess.
  • Excellent command of English language speaking and written
  • Excellent command of MS office applications

  

   

2.1           Knowledge of:

  • Experience of designing and using customer segmentation to develop value propositions in a mobile operator
  • Experience of developing value propositions targeted at data customers, to drive acquisition, retention.
  • Proven track record in the field of promotion and tactical pricing of products.
  • Creativity and openness for innovation and capability of implement best practices in the local market environment.

2.2           Skills in: 

  • Products & Services Knowledge: Umniah Products and Services (functionality, price, availability), Umniah packages (products included, price, availability), Subscription terms and condition
  • Marketing Strategy: Customer, Promotion, Channel, Product, and Pricing Strategies
  • Market Knowledge: Umniah’s Competition, Mobile Telecommunications industry, Consumer behavior and consumer segments
  • Product/Service Management: Product Life-Cycle Management (launch, termination)
