Job description

We are looking for a passionate iOS engineer in Amman who will be responsible to leverage the cutting edge mobile technologies and utilize them to their utmost usability. You will be joining Aramex’s talented digital solutions team to design, build and publish its mobile app products in collaboration with remote and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

* Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code

* Design, build and maintain advanced applications for the iOS platform

* Collaborate with remote and cross-functional teams to ship new features for the apps, update already existing ones and fix bugs on sprint basis

* Work with in-house built Web APIs as well as any external SDKs or libraries required

* Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability

* Maintain code quality

Skills Required

* BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.

* 1-3 Years of experience in mainly in Swift (Objective-C is a plus).

* Use Best Coding Practice when developing mobile apps (including knowledge of unit testing, automation testing / TDD).

* Have published one or more iOS apps in the app store.

* Good understanding of design patterns and architectures.

* Excellent English command (written and verbal).

* Experience in working with third-party libraries and APIs.

* Agile SCRUM experience.

* Very familiar with git source control.

* Familiarity with continuous integration.
