Responsibilities and Duties

1. Contribute to generating ideas and designing outreach projects that fulfill the cancer control strategy.
2. Contribute to research and collection of background knowledge on best practices in communication and outreach for cancer control.
3. Contribute to identifying and testing efficient and cost effective communication and outreach media.
4. Monitor media in line with the set strategy
5. Build and maintain a network of contacts to facilitate the achievement of CCO’s objectives with relevance to communication and outreach.
6. Assist in preparing, publishing and distributing, periodic reports and news items.
7. Assist other units in preparing for the delivering various awareness activities.
8. Organize events, conferences and workshops.

Education & Professional Experience

1. Bachelor’s degree with two years of practical experience in a related field.
2. Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), and online research skills.
3. Excellent communication and writing skills in Arabic and English.
4. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
5. Experience in advocacy and work with media is a plus.
6. Basic knowledge of healthcare and/or cancer control concepts is a plus.
