Job description

The Procurement Shared Service Center (PSSC) conducts end-to-end procurement activities for Aramex stations throughout the GCC region in a shared services environment. Employees of the PSSC conduct a wide array of procurement activities on behalf of the local stations that they support.

Responsibilities:

The Procurement Analyst will support regional procurement in at least 1 of the the following ways:

  • Purchase requisitioning and approval
  • Sourcing (RFI, RFQ, RFP creation and evaluation)
  • Supplier invoice management
  • Supplier payments
  • Contract creation, negotiation and management
  • Catalog management
  • Supplier onboarding and information management
  • Supplier performance management
  • Spend analysis and strategic reporting
  • General support of the Procure-to-pay (P2P) life cycle
  • Establishment of purchase orders, vendor master data management, and AP processes
  • Business process enhancement & re-engineering
  • Ensure that internal controls are maintained in compliance with corporate policies

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree and minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in a Procurement function or shared services environment
  • Fluent in Arabic & English

Competencies:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good with time management
  • Ability to execute procurement activities utilizing standard operating procedures (SOP)
  • Comfort with utilizing technology as a primary tool
  • Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend changes
  • Business acumen
  • Knowledge of SAP MM or SAP Ariba not required, but a strong plus
