Job description
Descriptioniflix is the new subscrption video on demand service offering thousands of hours the best movies and TV shows from around the world for a single low monthly subscription.ABOVE AND BEYOND THE BELOW, THAT’S WHAT’S EXPECTED OF YOU – BUT AT THE LEAST PLEASE ENSURE THE FOLLOWING…
- Censorship editing. Remove / obscure shots that are offensive to audience, according to iflix Censorship guidelines
- Ensure compliance with company guidelines, deadlines and design standards.
- Assurance: Make sure video and audio quality are up to required standard and assets are ingested correctly.
- Technical QC: Understand video and audio formats and be comfortable with technical jargon.Problem: Able to detect anything out of norm in a video and know the ways to fix.
- Compliance: Monitor International content licensed for your region to ensure it complies with local standards. Logging and reporting will follow HQ processes.
- Tracking Management: Tracking for ingestion and QA status. Always keep them up to date and set priority to QA according to content license date.

- Experience with OTT platforms/ any video broadcast channels.
- Familiarity with either Photoshop, Premier and Adobe After Effects mastery with proficiency in other Adobe Creative applications
- Proactive and eager to learn, pushing the boundaries of current technologies and create progressive designs;
- Good understanding on video specifications in different types of video standards and formats.
- Knowledge on video editing/ encoding tools which are used for ingestion of content.
- Have keen eyes and ears, attentive to detail, able to spot errors even when working on fast-forwarding speed.
- Have sense of urgency, knowing what to prioritize and adapt to changes promptly.
- Able to communicate well in English plus in any local languages.Really passionate about TV and film, with a good understanding of content in general.
