Job description

1.        Job purpose

Responsible to manage the presence of E-commerce platforms (Umniah website and application) in order to drive traffic and generate orders. Also, responsible to liaise with several departments/ divisions including but not limited to Customer Care, Logistics, Retail, Enterprise & High Value Segment, and Marketing to ensure meeting the set SLAs and ensure customer satisfaction.

2.        Responsibilities

Build eCommerce strategy that increases the sales and achieve the KPIs

Cooperate with other departments on high level operations to ensure meeting their set SLAs

Overseeing the delivery of products and services to the customer in coordination with the Logistics division on daily basis

Work hand in hand with Enterprise & High Value Segment to maintain current partnerships and pursuit new potential ones

Conducting daily stock management activities in coordination with the retail division

Maintaining the platform representation and enhancement in coordination with the Marketing team in terms of products presentation and brand guidelines.

Build partnerships with merchants whom are interested to use our ecommerce platform as marketplaces.

Coordinate with the product managers to develop exclusive bundles and special offers

3.1    

    The job entails exposure to:

Build eCommerce strategy that increases the sales and achieve the KPIs

Create a full year strategy that increases sales

Analyze the customer journey and how to promote interesting offers to specific customers

Cooperate with other departments on high level operations to ensure meeting their set SLAs

Work with Quality and other depts. to create processes and SLAs

Monitor meeting the SLAs and report any suspicious issue

Ensure proper verification of customer orders delivered through e-commerce platforms.

Ensure contacting customers in timely manner by referring to the SLA.

Investigate and report any suspicious issue.

Overseeing the delivery of products and services to the customer in coordination with the Logistics division on daily basis

Ensure proper packaging of the requested item(s).

Ensure couriers are delivering the orders properly and in timely manner by referring to the SLA.

Check the process of returned items and report the reasons for quality enhancement purposes.

Control the available stock with the courier.

Working hand in hand with Enterprise & High Value Segment to maintain current partnerships and pursuit new potential ones

Enhance the e-commerce platform through regular check over the provided services/products to search for new partnerships.

Follow up with related employees to maintain the current partnerships and create new ones.

Conducting stock management activities in coordination with the retail division on daily basis

Monitor and control the stock levels on daily basis.

Reporting the stock availability in Umniah warehouse.

Ensure that the ecommerce is showing the correct stock details (color, quantity, size, etc.)

Maintaining the platform representation and enhancement in coordination with the Marketing team

Conduct online marketing activities and suggest updates on the marketing plan related to the e-commerce platforms

Ensure proper alignment of the product content with the general structure within the platform,

Organize the updates of new products and promotions in coordination with the marketing team.

Achieve sales target

Build partnerships with merchants whom are interested to use our ecommerce platform as marketplaces

Meet with potential merchants whom are interested to establish marketplaces in our ecommerce platform

Offer SMS, digital marketing offers for those merchants.

Coordinate with the product managers to develop exclusive bundles and special offers

4.        Requirements

Education:    Bachelor Degree  in Marketing, Business Administration, MIS, or any related field.

Work Experience: a minimum of 5 – 8 years of experience in e-commerce and Telecom or technology products

Knowledge and Skills: –       Knowledge Of:

    • eCommerce and Telecom industry including telecom products and services.
    • Marketing Strategy: Customer, Promotion, Channel, Product, and Pricing Strategies
    • Market Knowledge: Umniah’s Competition, Mobile Telecommunications industry, Consumer behavior and consumer segments
    • Product/Service Management: Product Life-Cycle Management (launch, termination)
    • Logistics and Inventory Management: Warehouse management, Material transfer management, Inventory analysis, Inventory performance management
    • Basic knowledge in HTML language
    • Basic knowledge in Photoshop program

       

  • Skills In:
    • Excellent command of English language speaking and writing
    • Excellent command of MS office applications
    • Creativity and openness for innovation and capability to implement best practices.
