HCM Manager

Job Description

HCM Strategy
• Take part in defining the HR Technology roadmap and implementation of HR Technology in the future incorporating current systems and desired future state and guide the development of overall strategy related to the HR Technology department.
• Manage the portfolio of HR Technology projects including determining the priority of projects based on HR Leadership direction and organizational needs/priorities.
• Manage the efficient and effective use of company HRIS and other HR Technology applications and systems.
• Manage transition of system upgrades by ensuring quality and consistency of HRIS database information, workflows, and processes.
Business Processes
• Deconstruct and rebuild established HR processes to better leverage existing technologies for greater effectiveness and develop, analyze, streamline and document new and existing HR business processes.
• Ensure optimal use of current systems and technology within the Human Resources department
• Evaluate business processes and recommend improvements to maximize the use of HR Technology resources & applications.
• Responsible for managing a highly performing HRIS team project members.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders so that HR systems provide the correct functionality and are properly supported.
• Manage the vendor relationships from functional part with third party system providers and implementers
• Serve as a subject matter expert for HR data management including general data flow, administration, maintenance, data integrity, security, reporting, project management and organization support.
• Collaborate with key resources including IT to ensure the secure storage and movement of HR data as well as compliance and security policies.
• Manage the HR reporting work stream and vision, by ensuring the systems are managed to provide highly reliable data.
Project Management

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring feasibility
• Ensure resource availability and allocation to the current and upcoming projects
• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
• Report and escalate to management as needed, and perform risk management to minimize project risks
Change Management

• Work with the project teams to assess change readiness and project risk related to change.
• Proactively work with project leadership to identify and address resistance and change readiness challenges associated with change.
• Take part in planning, drafting and executing change communications amongst all levels of leadership and support both within the project team and the organization.
• Develop and deliver the plan and structure required for education and training. This includes planning for the education and training curricula, courses, course material, attendees and the scheduling and execution of the sessions.
• Take part in creating, utilizing, and enabling structures for ensuring engagement, involvement and ownership of the change and the results to relevant stakeholder groups.



• Minimum: Bachelor degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent
• Preferred: Masters in Business Administration Degree
• PMP certification is a plus
• 6-8 years of demonstrated experience in functional HR Management and HRIS solutions
• 2 Go-Live cycles of HRIS implementations, preferably SAP SuccessFactors
• Extensive experience managing information systems and data
• Analytical ability to determine how to optimize systems and data to support business processes
• Working knowledge of System Development Lifecycle and/or formal project management methodology
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization, understand user needs, and offer suggestions to improve their requests
• Must be able to handle highly sensitive data with the greatest degree of confidentiality
• Have extensive knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors
• Advanced knowledge in: MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS SharePoint
