DescriptionThe Technology Development Representative (TDR), Middle East is an intermediary contributor between R&D and Sales – Marketing in bottom up and top down product and solution development accordingly to the market targets for achieving advanced corporate business results in Middle East.
Key responsibilities
Alignment to the relevant commercial strategy
Identification of potential products together arriving from R&D targeting the local customer needs with appropriate solutions in co-operation with marketing and sales department.
Intensive communication and exchange of information with R&D, Marketing and Sales.
Building and maintaining good relationship with growers or/and distributors
Knowing the input materials from R&D
Trial planning, trial plan alignment with TD Crop Leads, trial seed forecasting, trial design and set up, trial follow up, Trial data record, process and evaluation
Active contribution in Advancement Team’s work and proposals for variety advancements
Support of new variety introduction and market extension activities
Technical contribution in demand generating activities like customer visits, field days, events, marketing tools, etc.
Contribution in internal and distributor trainings
Technical support in complaint handling
Contribution in collecting market and competitor data
Use of adequate digital tools
Qualifications
Education:
BSc or MSc or equivalent in Agronomy
Work Experience:
Work experience in vegetable or agricultural industry is preferred

Dynamic and enthusiastic person
Able to work in a team within the department and cross-functionally as well
Proactivity in task definition
Solution orientation
Strong in planning, time management and prioritization
Good data analytic skills
Good communication skills
Flexible approach to travel frequently inland and abroad as well
Knowledge:
Knowledge in tomato, cucumber watermelon or melon crop will be appreciated
Medium level in use of MS Office
Driving license (B – Motor vehicles)
Languages:
Native speaker in Arabic or Farsi and fluency in English (CEFR: B – Independent user)
