Job location(s): Jordan 
 
As an HR Manager, you will be a member of Cargill Animal Nutrition Middle East and Africa HR team, aligning key HR priorities with the strategic priorities of the business.
 
You will provide HR leadership, organizational and industry expertise, and analysis to implement strategic business plans for the Middle East region including a heavy focus on inorganic growth (acquisitions and joint ventures). You are accountable for talent management, performance management, compensation, engagement, HR risk management, HR solutions and supporting business integrations post acquisitions and joint venture agreements. 
 
In addition, you are responsible to coordinate delivery of HR services for the business with Global Human Resources Solutions and Centers of Expertise partners where available as well as HR colleagues across other businesses in the region. You are required to understand variations in local needs, culture and practices aligned with Cargill and Cargill Animal Nutrition culture, principles and policies.
 
Major Tasks
  • You will support in the development of people plans for the region based on business knowledge and market trends
  • You will analyze industry and competitive issues impacting Business Unit strategy 
  • You will coordinate and align delivery of all HR services to the business to ensure value creation 
  • You will support, contribute and lead HR projects in the region
  • You will support identification, assessment, calibration, development, placement and deployment of talent
  • You will contribute to talent management initiatives in the business and support integrated talent management processes
  • You will execute Business Unit/Function talent management strategy outlined by HR Leader
  • You will coach individuals and teams and build strong capabilities in the local management teams
  • You will align Business Unit objectives with compensation processes, and support movement of resources across the businesses 
  • You are accountable for working with appropriate HR partners to ensure workforce/resource planning deliverables are executed
  • You will ensure HR services are aligned with culture, compliant with country policies and regulations
  • You will champion and promote the employee performance management and development process 
  • You will plan employee engagement activities, and provide analysis and recommendations on engagement actions as well as benchmarking
  • You are willing to travel 30% of the time
Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business field
  • 7 – 10 years’ experience in HR client roles
  • Experienced in leading acquisition activities, integration activities post acquisition and joint venture as well as green field experience (establishing new organizations)
  • International experience is a must; must have worked across Middle East region 
  • Experience in working in a matrix structure in a large multinational organization
  • Possess high cultural sensitivity and emotional intelligence 
  • Possess high level of leadership agility and resilience
  • Adaptable to changes, open-minded and willing to explore new things
  • Fluent in English and Arabic in speech and writing
  • Work autonomously, self-starter, used to working with employees at all levels in the organization, including Leadership teams
