Job Description

• Communicate with Management and SMEs the data analytics requirements according to business needs.
• Design conceptual BI data models and integrated flowcharts to be incorporated with current facts and dimensions.
• Build and deploy BI solutions and data warehouse repositories (e.g. OLAP cubes, reporting tools).
• Develop and implement BI queries and create visualizations, reports and dashboards specific to assigned projects.
• Acquire data from data sources and maintain analytical databases and data warehouse systems.
• Filter and “clean” data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to locate and correct anomalies that could skew analytical results.
• Collaborate with Business units to interpret and analyze BI results, trends or patterns in complex data sets.
• Streamline performance tuning for data collection and analysis procedures to ensure fast access to metrics.
• Generate and review documentation for BI solutions and all data changes or refinements.
• Maintain and support data analytics platforms and evaluate H/W and S/W resources according to scalability and performance needs

Skills

• Excellent knowledge of SQL queries, database structures and integrity concepts
• Working knowledge of data mining and data warehouse design (e.g. Dimensional Modeling).
• In-depth understanding of online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework.
• Familiarity with BI technologies and data visualization tools (e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Qlikview etc.)
• Working knowledge using analytical tools and languages (e.g. Python, R, Excel, etc…)
• Passionate engagement in learning cutting edge developments in BI relevant technologies (e.g. Big Data, IOT, Machine Learning etc.)
• High Analytical mindset and algorithmic problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Autonomous with the ability to work under stress.
• Proficiency in English as a working language is a must.
