Job description
1. Job purpose
Responsible for supporting the power planning team for developing the needed new projects and come up with Requests For Proposal. Supporting power operation team for closing sub-projects to enhance network availability.
This position is responsible for coordinating all projects roll out and ensure meeting project implementation plans, developing the implementation project plans for assigned and new awarded projects, supervising the installed equipment test and acceptance.
2. Responsibilities
- Manage the Electrical & Environmental Project Management (roll out).
- Manage the service and solution acceptance.
- Manage and coordinate field staff.
3. Managerial Responsibilities
- Provide guidance, instruction and direction to team members.
- Assign roles and work load distribution, setting objectives.
- Plan and organize the work of team members.
- Provide needed development for team members (coordinate with his direct management and HR).
- Provide coaching and performance feedback to team members.
- Manage team’s performance.
- Act as a point of reference for team in issues related to company strategy and direction (top down approach).
- Assure that all his/her team members are following Umniah’s policies and procedures and highlight any violation for the code of conduct.
- Able to be held accountable for his/her team performance and actions.
- Manage the administrative requirements of his/her team (Attendance, Job Description…).
- Retain talents and recommend actions with low performers.
- Guarantee business continuity within his team.
4. Requirements
Education: Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering or any related field.
Work Experience: a minimum of 4 years minimum in related energy projects (preferred in telecom industry)
Certificates: PMP is preferred
Knowledge Of:
- Telecom field
- Umniah Products and Services
- Huawei and ZTE vendor.
Skills In:
- Engineering and Technology: Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipments to the design and production of various goods and services.
- Computers and Electronics: Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.
- Design: Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
- Telecommunications: Knowledge of transmission, broadcasting, switching, control, and operation of telecommunications systems.
- Production and Processing: Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques.
- Vendor Management and SLA management.
- Excellent command of English language speaking and writing.
- Excellent command of MS office
Work Environment: Field Work and Office Work, Handling constant calls.
Health & Safety Conditions: Lighting and electricity exposure and handling sharp tools.
