Full Stack Developer

Job Description:

Full-stack Developer at ShopGo is one that makes all client requests a reality and doesn’t know the word “no”. The responsibilities range from front-end to back-end activities, experience with Magento (being a certified backend Magento developer is a plus), PHP, Databases, HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The full-stack developer can lead certain sprints and identify ways to improve the overall ShopGo service based on client feedback and repetitive ticket cases. Full-stack developer needs to make sure the support agent tickets are not complex development- level tickets as much as possible.

Responsibilities

• Handle all Development Tickets and suggest ways to solve root cause when appropriate
• Get acquainted with ShopGo subscription systems the likes of Freshdesk, Zoho, Slack, Atlassian, Jira, Bitbucket, Github, and Google Drive.
• Get acquainted with ShopGo1 and ShopGo2 Modules on Bitbucket, Github and Composer
• Ability to clearly document existing modules and future ones
• Be available and near a machine at times of system failures, stores down, or critical server issues
• Maintain and grow ShopGo clients. Reach 400 clients by end of 2018 (from the product’s perspective) and upcoming following-year targets
• Regularly respond to client feedback to enable ShopGo product enhancement

• Set personal goals and objectives
• Ready to learn new technologies

Skills Required/ to acquire

• Solution stack LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)
• Magento Certified Developer
• Translation of designer mock-ups and wireframes into front-end code
• Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and system design
