Job description

  • JOB PURPOSE 
    • Manage a team of sales executives and a portfolio of the company’s largest accounts for high-profile clients and top business leaders.
    • Ensure the company sales objectives are delivered.
    • Apply the Marketing and Sales strategies to meet expected growth targets set by the company, and ensure high customer satisfaction.

     

    MAIN TASKS

    • Manage the Commercial Department including supporting all sales and marketing personnel.
    • Supervise and follow up the daily work of the sales team.
    • Ensure high customer service and build strong relationships with existing clients to maximize revenue potentials.
    • Maintain current clients, identify and approach new potential clients. (Monitor the competition – Other Media…).
    • Carry out a program for market research and analysis including market segments, buying trends and competitor analysis.
    • Provide recommendations for improving or adding new product designs and market research firms.
    • Oversee and verify reporting of sales and marketing activities, including leads generated and tracking reports, sales orders received sales by product, backlog reports and customer lists and determine appropriate reporting frequency, such as, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
    • Ensure all booking orders are properly signed.
    • Monitor advertising campaigns of competitors in magazines and newspapers.
    • Control and communicate booking orders and sales reports to management.
    • Prepare statistics related to monthly turnover of the different products and reconcile with Beirut.
    • Ensure monthly reports of the Turnover to be communicated to IPSOS.
    • Coordinate and follow up orders internally with the Accounting department on matters related to the clients’ campaigns.
    • Ensure implementation of the ISO quality system, and monitor and report needed Sales KPIs.
    • Ensure all booking orders are updated on the log sheet and sent to Beirut.
    • Follow up on the booking of the networks, and billposting of campaigns planned based on the weekly program.
    • Ensure regular visits to agencies and/or clients.
    • Follow up the sales activities with clients and agencies.
    • Prepare media plans based on client needs.
    • Develop Business Plans and sales strategies in accordance with market needs.
    • Ensure monthly sales targets are reached.
    • Prepare the yearly sales targets for the products handled.
    • Ensure and communicate detailed correspondence of minutes of meetings related to decisions taken.
    • Ensure regular circulation of information to other departments in a timely manner.
    • Accompany clients to visit products on site when needed.
    • Communicate regularly with the administrative department the contact details of the new clients and ensure an updated mailing list by the Sales Administrative Coordinator.

     

      QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

    • University graduate with a degree in Marketing, Advertising or Public Relations.
    • Minimum 8 years experience in sales with at least 3 years in a senior or managerial position in a related field.
    • Fluent in English and Arabic.

    • Computer literate with good knowledge in Excel, Word and Outlook.
    • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
    • Strong leadership and decision making.
    • Customer oriented.
    • Good communication skills.
    • Ability to adapt to different situations.
    • Good problem solving skills and be able to deal with complex situations.
