Senior Data Networks Operations Engineer

About the role

Manage , Operate , plan & implement the International backbone with the external operators.
Maintain, operate , plan, and implement orange Fixed international and National backbone and gateways that are servicing the wholesale customers.
Manage , operate , plan, and implement Orange MPLS and Fixed network for the whole kingdom service routers and solutions embedded with the MPLS and access router.
Administer and maintain IT-Infrastructure and Data Center environment to provide maximum availability and performance that supports the enterprise goals, organizational values and meet the business requirements.

Bsc. Telecommunication, electronic, electrical engineer with 3 years minimum experience

Good knowledge of CCNA, CCNP, TCP/IP.
Good Knowledge in , CISCO router, ALU Routers , Junipers
Good knowledge of network Design and specifications
Working under pressure
Assessment techniques for examining, questioning, evaluating and reporting on hardware, software, and communication equipment and services.
Rigorous, Organized, Technical Intervention, Knowledge of network equipment, Reliable, Autonomous and Initiative
Good Communication and project management skills
Good reporting , Negotiation, Initiative skills
Proficiency in English as a working language is a must
High Analytical and problem solving skills

IP Core Network &
Systems Operations

Manage and operate Data fixed backbone network, Wholesale IP backbone , and international networks .
Manage and operate Mobile IP backbone network “MPBN , GPRS ..etc.”.
Manage and operate the IP-MPLS backbone network, Orange Data-ISP and DPI solution.
Manage and operate Data Core Networks operations , interconnect , and implement Data network operation projects to achieve company business objectives.
Follow network evolution and capacity forecast for the system(s) architecture and upgrade the Data Core Networks vertically and horizontally.
Operate the setup of Data Core Networks routing plans, numbering plan, and running parameters to achieve optimal configurations and maximum resource usage.
Follow the on-going and upcoming projects between Engineering and Operations.
Follow up, maintain and update operation documentations for reference.
Access Network Optimization ( Running LNSs, New LACs ,the LAC function on the MX Juniper Access routers).
Follow Mobile projects ( 4G and mobile site swap 3G & 2G ) and other mobile node connectivity to IP MPLS setup through MPBN ( RNC , EPC , GPRS , MPBN ..etc).
Operate , manage and implement IPv6 DS-lite.
Backbone optimization ( New and Edges optimization ,New I-IGRs optimizations , manage and operate full service Automatic GR between the two Data Centers,
