HR Specialist – Jordan

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

To support the development of the ‘best team’ approach and contribute to position of adidas as employer of choice in Jordan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To lead all recruitment requirements in Jordan, jointly with superior and the respective department managers.
  • To support proper administration of payroll and draft Employment Contracts for all employees.
  • Coordinating all the training information from the performance management system
  • To prepare and execute suitable training measures in alignment with department managers.
  • To inform the organization about the available HR tools & programs and encourage using them.
  • To successfully build up an employee relation management and develop a standing as a competent and accepted contact partner.
  • To contribute to an inspiring working environment, strong performance culture and elevate the company to become employer of choice.
  • Continuous update of Company Internal Rules as per Local or Global amendments. Monitor that the code of conduct is respected by the staff.
  • Monitor the personnel files of all employees (Office & Retail) as per set guidelines. Book all leaves and the reasons behind to ensure proper followup.
  • Ensure proper medical insurance coverage for all staff.  Supervise Global Insurance Policy.
  • Ensure prompt reporting & followup on global/area requests / projects roll out, while focusing on quality of execution in Jordan.
  • To measure progress on own KPIs.Key Relationships:
  • Regional: HRMs .
  • Local: Employees/HR Team/ PRO/Finance and Office Management.KPIs:
  • Fluctuation rate
  • Recruitment Excellence
  • eNPS
  • Ratio of internal versus external placements on vacancies
  • Implementation support on projectsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Advanced MS Office skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, with the ability to deal with internal and external business partners in all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to plan, organise and follow up on own KPIs and projects.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions with limited direction and under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work on several projects simultaneously.
  • Strong personal ethics and influencing skills.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English fluently. Arabic abilities will be given preference.Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
  • University degree in business with HR focus. CIPD or SHRM will be a clear advantage.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of HR experience at generalist level.
  • Background with retail, sports industry, company size of 200+ will be given preference.
  • Working experience with SAP or ORACLE or any Global HR systems.
  • Industry: consumer driven, sport goods or global player
