1-  Technical Education Coordinator – Amman
Roles and Responsibilities
The role of the Technical Education Coordinator (TEC) is to support the Core Competency Specialist (CCS) in ensuring that NRC Education programme approaches and strategies are well-informed and in-line with national and international education policies and plans. The main responsibility of the TEC is to support the CCS and programme teams with ensuring high quality and appropriate curriculum and pedagogical skills within programmes and with education partners, and conducting quality assurance monitoring and evaluation (M&E) to ensure appropriate application of these. This position will involve training, and is also responsible for providing Arabic-English translation of programmatic materials, as required.
Generic responsibilities:
  • Adherence to NRC policies, guidance and procedures.
  • Ensure that projects target beneficiaries most in need of protection, explore and asses new and better ways to assist.
  • Promote the rights of internally displaced/returnees in line with the advocacy strategy.
  • Contribute to the development of Core Competency strategy, Micro Log Frame, and Plan of Action.
  • Contribute to the specific Core Competency programme development, adjustment or review.
  • Conduct Core Competency technical assessment and present recommendations.
  • Conduct specific Core Competency technical research and document findings and recommendations.
  • Provide specific Core Competency technical input to coordination mechanism (e.g. cluster coordination) and working groups.
  • Develop specific Core Competency technical indicators and mechanism for monitoring and evaluation.
  • Develop specific Core Competency technical guidance, tools and mechanism.
  • Contribute to organisational learning through the provision specific technical analysis, lessons learned and reports.
  • Develop training modules and provide specific technical learning or/and training for project staff.
  • Provide training to relevant stakeholders.Actively promote PSEA (Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse) standards & principles within NRC and amongst beneficiaries served by NRC.
Specific responsibilities:
  • Overall responsibility for monitoring of curricular content and assessment tool development.
  • Develop/support programmes to develop appropriate pedagogical and Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) approaches, teaching and learning materials, curriculum and tools, and ensure alignment of these across camps and host.
  • Design a system and tools for conducting quality assurance checks on curriculum and instruction, identifying skills/tools gaps and ensuring effective resolution.
  • Maintain vigilant awareness of MoE activities and policies; Stay well-informed of national and district level issues and policies affecting education in Jordan; Ensure effective dissemination of this information to CCS, programme teams and relevant parties.
  • Ensure gender, protection and conflict-sensitive mainstreaming in programme curriculum and approaches.
  • Support education research teams and activities in Jordan and MENA; Provide Arabic-English translation, as required.

2-  Logistics Officer – Zaatari
Roles and Responsibilities:
To support the effective operation of the NRC Logistics Team and related programme activities located in Camp, by providing general logistics assistance in accordance with NRC Logistics policies and procedures and relevant donor guidelines.
Generic responsibilities:
  • Ensure adherence with NRC policies, tools, handbooks and guidelines.
  • Implement delegated support function portfolio according to plan of action.
  • Prepare and develop status reports as required by management.
  • Ensure proper filing of documents.
  • Promote and share ideas for improvement of the support function.
  • Actively promote PSEA (Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse) standards & principles within NRC and amongst beneficiaries served by NRC.
Specific responsibilities
  • To implement/maintain and follow Donor standard warehouse practices and record keeping to full audit trail standard.
  • To ensure the correct storage, rotation of stock and proper structural maintenance of warehouse(s) to keep all stocks in good condition.
  • Adhere to/maintain NRC, UNHCR and local security, safety and health procedures.
  • To organize local labor to effect the timely and efficient reception to and dispatch of goods from the warehouse.
  • Produce regular, timely and accurate narrative and financial reports for the NRC Logistics Coordinator.

3-  Technical Logistics Assistant-Fleet- Zaatari
Roles and Responsibilities:
The role of the dispatcher is to receive and respond to all transport booking requests and responsible for all vehicles movements within their respective area and for communicating with the other fleet dispatchers.
Generic responsibilities:

We are looking for a candidate with a Vocational/Tawjihi degree or equivalent, Minimum 2 years of experience. Valid Jordanian driving license level 4. Documented results related to the positions responsibilities

4- Shelter Project Manager – Zaatari Camp
Roles and Responsibilities:
The Shelter PM Zaatari is in charge of the oversight and implementation of the UNHCR and WFP grant in Zaatari camp. The project manager will coordinate actively with the Shelter PM Azraq, the Area Manager and Shelter Specialist in the management of the selected grants.
Generic responsibilities:
·          Line management for project staff.
·          Adherence to NRC policies, guidance and procedures.
·          Contribute to the development of Country, Area and Core Competency strategies.
·          Initiate and participate in the development of relevant projects.
·          Coordinate and manage project implementation (activities, budget and project documentation) in line with proposals, strategies and donor requirements.
·          Implement technical direction and ensure high technical quality of projects.
·          Provide regular progress reports to the Line Manager and the Core Competency Specialist.
·          Ensure that projects target beneficiaries most in need of protection; explore and asses new and better ways to assist.
·          Develop and manage project budget (in cooperation with coordinators) and coordinate across Core Competencies.
·          Ensure capacity building of project staff and transfer of key skills.
·          Liaise and collaborate with relevant local authorities and other key stakeholders.
·          Promote the rights of internally displaced/returnees in line with the advocacy strategy.
·          Actively promote PSEA (Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse) standards & principles within NRC and amongst beneficiaries served by NRC.
Specific responsibilities
·          Oversee the launch and implementation of the WFP grant in Zaatari camp, ensuring strong coordination with WFP, camp management and UNHCR partners.
·          Ensure the smooth roll out of the findings of the monitization report, ensuring the gradual and smooth transition to a quarterly cash distribution schedule. Support if relevant the roll out of mobile money in Zaatari.
·          Ensure strong coordination with UNHCR and WFP field and technical unit promoting a close and coordinated working relationship.
·          Ensure strong field presence, providing active support to NRC Shelter team in Zaatari.
·          Ensure protection and beneficiary well – being, including through the promotion of CfW opportunities, is at the center of our operations in Zaatari.
·          Actively coordinate with the shelter PM in Azraq to ensure strong reporting and coordination.
Our Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor degree or higher, Minimum 3 years of experience from a senior level project implementation position in a humanitarian/recovery context. Prior management of WFP and/or UNHCR grants a value added, Engineering degree a value added, Strong budget management skills required, Detail oriented, Proven ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
We are particularly looking for a positive individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills, who can build trust and confidently navigate both internally and externally at different levels, to have the ability to analyze data and trends for informed decisions and Capacity building skills.
