We at OpenSooq are looking to hire an Accountant to join our finance team in Amman. Your responsibilities are: – Record of expenses and sales revenue journal entries – Prepare bank reconciliations – Prepare some ad hoc ​financial ​reports ​(budget, financial statements, internal managerial reports, etc) ​when needed – Review the journal entries ​- Help in preparing or reviewing the policies and procedures ​- Support in monthly, quarterly and yearly closing ​- Take initiatives in improving accounting operations, processes or systems ​- Help in preparing payroll and ensure payments are prepared and executed on a timely base ​- Any other duties as requested ​ The profile we are looking for: – Experience of 1 to 2 years in the field of accounting – Excellent cash flow handling skills – Very good communication skills – Strong organisational skills and team player – Strong customer focused – Knowledge using QuickBooks or any other accounting tools – Good Arabic and English communication skills If you are interested or know someone who is interested, please apply to: careers@opensooq.com
