Financial Manager

What we are looking for:
Naouri Group is looking for a Financial Manager with extensive accounting and finance experience in a leading firm to lead the finance functions of the accounting Department. The Financail Manager will be reporting directly to the CFO of the, ensuring that the company follows sound and consistent finance processes, embeds an atmosphere of consistent improvement and following leading practices, and that strong financial controls are in place to protect the company’s interest.
Job experience and competency requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting. Postgraduate degrees are a plus
  • Professional Accounting Title is a big plus (CA, CPA, CMA)
  • Ten years demonstrated financial leadership experience in a large travel and tourism organization or in Big Four companies.
  • Extensive experience with strategic financial planning, forecasting, business planning, budgeting, accounting systems, and cost control principles gained through a progressive financial career
  • Knowledge in the travel and tourism industry is preferable
  • High proficiency level in both Arabic and English languages
  • Exceptional analytical and business skills to deal with the complexities of a large organization
  • High proficiency level in Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel
  • In-depth knowledge in using ERP systems. Knowledge in using SAP is a plus.
  • Knowledge of financial laws and corporate regulations in addition to in-depth knowledge of IFRS
  • Strong knowledge in tax and social security laws and regulations and their applications
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships
  • Excellent executive level presentation abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong business planning and implementation skills
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality and accountability
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • Sense of diplomacy, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
