Job Purpose:

Responsible for planning and optimizing the network by analyzing network stats and solve customer complaints to enhance network coverage, capacity and quality to improve network KPIs and customer perception.

Responsibility:

Enhance 2G/3G/4G network performance

• Monitor and read all major KPIs and figure out the worst cells in daily basis for 2G, 3G and 4G technologies
  
• Handle and undertake network optimization and performance improvement tasks to achieve predefined key performance indicators for both 2G, 3G and 4G.
• Notify and evaluate the network coverage, quality and capacity requirements for every region/area and customer complaints to propose the required solutions
• Conduct drive tests regularly and analyze the results to enhance the network KPI’s
• Optimize network parameter by performing hardware changes and follow up with related divisions on software changes updates

Follow up on customer complaints

• Follow up and resolve customers complaints submitted by technical teams and other departments and TRC
  
• Implement appropriate actions to resolve complaints within agreed SLA by different means from adding new site, hardware changes to changing radio parameters
• Handle VIP customer trouble shooting procedures

Enhance deep indoor coverage

• Identify black spots indoor areas and introduce appropriate solutions
  
• Allocate new needed indoor coverage solutions needed in new commercial and residential buildings

Integrate new sites

• Create site data-fills to support site integration 2G/3G/4G.
• Optimize new and surrounding sites by doing hardware and software parameter modification
• Implement regular drive tests for new sites

Set sites’ coverage and quality plan

• Calculate traffic demand
• Conduct drive tests in areas that need quality and coverage improvement
• Proposing new sites to solve quality, coverage and capacity issues
• Implement field surveys for new sites
• Attend draft visit with other departments to handover new planed sites

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor Degree in Telecommunication Engineering or any related field

Work Experience: 1 – 4 years in a related role.

Knowledge Of:

• Telecom field
• Radio frequency tools and technologies
• Spectrum analysis technology to detect interference problems

• Google earth

Skills In:

• Network Performance Management: Performance management tools, Network Performance optimization, Performance Management process, Service Performance Optimization.
• Network Planning: Radio Network Planning, Radio Network Infrastructure and Technologies, Radio Frequency Planning, Radio Network Planning Tools
• Vendor Management.
• Excellent command of English language speaking and writing.
• Excellent command of MS office.
