1-  Instrument Material Studies Engineer

الوصف الوظيفي

The successful candidate will work on instrument materials requirement planning for all plants and manage variation in supply chain of instruments spare parts starting from specifications preparation and ends with receipt and inspect of materials at stores. The successful candidate will work to maintain target goals of materials availability to ensure continuity of production lines and availability of plants without interruptions.

• Strategic planning for stock levels of instrument materials based on consumption, forecasted consumption, delivery time, cost, criticality, and shelf life.
• Optimize inventory cost based on having optimum levels, optimum cost and optimum specifications.
• Manage variation in lead time demand by making periodic studies to minimize variation either by improving specifications, provide technical support to end users, looking for new sources with improved and reliable supply in terms of delivery time and quality.
• Identify spare parts for new installed capital projects.
• Prepare technical specifications based on relevant global standards and issuance of purchase requisitions.
• Technical evaluation of received offers.
• Receipt and inspect of purchased materials at stores.
• Prepare technical specifications for new capital equipment.
• Prepare technical installation plans for new purchased instrument capital equipment.
• Cap with safety, environmental and housekeeping aspects.
• Cap with new production evolutions and requirements that needs improvement and change in specifications.
• Prepare technical reports for all transactions and activities of his section.
• Perform any duties related to his job as assigned by superintendent

المهارات

• B.Sc. Degree in Mechatronics or Electronics Engineering with GPA of very good or higher.
• At least three years of experience in an industrial company.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Applications (such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).  
• Advanced computer skills.
• Excellent read, write and speak in English.
• Excellent problem solving skills & Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks.
• Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing.
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
• Teamwork and ability to respond to off-hour emergencies.
• Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work as part of a team.
