Purpose of the Assignment: The purpose of this consultancy the consultancy to strengthen UNICEF Afghanistan’s education programme management systems by establishing robust monitoring, compliance, and reporting mechanisms across all donor-funded education initiatives. The consultant will ensure that programme resources are efficiently planned, tracked, and reported, providing timely and accurate analyses to inform management decisions and maintain donor confidence. In parallel, the consultancy will enhance internal knowledge management systems to ensure the programmatic data are systematically captured, curated, and made accessible for learning, accountability, and adaptive management. Through this dual focus, the consultant will contribute to ensuring that UNICEF’s education programmes remain financially sound, transparent, and responsive to the complex and dynamic environment in which they operate.
