Job description
Accountabilities and Key Roles:
- Provide a set of certain Financial reports/ analysis on a monthly basis.
- Coordinate and develop Consumer Banking (CB) countries detailed budgets/ forecasts.
- Lead Arabi Extra and cross border programs across Plc to achieve the programs overall target.
- Develop, implement and maintain a comprehensive and detailed Profit and Loss (P&L), balance sheet items By (Country, Segment, and Product), that include the calculation of: Interest rates, Funding Transfer Pricing and Spreads, Expenses trend and Assets/ liabilities.
- Compare the monthly financial performance of CB countries versus budgets, previous years, and/ or monthly trend. Examine the variances and explain the reasons.
- Prepare monthly Financial Analysis for Consumer Banking head Office and/ or countries.
- Responsible for developing and driving/ leading a standardized and comprehensive overall budget/ forecast process and business planning for CB countries in conjunction with all functional heads.
- Monitor CB countries’ Financial accounting issues and decision support activities.
Job Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor degree in Finance, or Accounting from a recognized university. CMA or CFA and relevant professional certificates are preferable.
Experience:
2-3 years in Finance with a leading international bank or organization. Two of which in similar position.
Competencies:
- Fluent in Arabic and English.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Good presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and modeling skills.
- Proven ability to deliver tasks against tight timelines.
- Thorough understanding of accounting and financial standards and principles.
- Strong understanding of the business of all functions and their Financial reporting requirements.
