The Financial Controller will report to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and will assume a strategic role in the overall management of the ArabiaWeather’s growing operations. The Financial Controller will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. This includes direct responsibility for accounting, finance, job costing, pricing, cash collection and cash flow management, forecasting, budgeting, tax and social security matters, and banking relationships.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

• All aspects of finance and accounting functions of the organization;

• Provision of timely financial reporting (monthly) that incorporates accurate analysis of financial performance, budgets, financial trends and forecast;

• Setting-up and maintaining accounting software; • Take a hands-on, active approach to develop, implement, and maintain company-wide financial KPIs and metrics; • Develop, implement, and continuously refine a pricing mechanism for all existing and future products and services;

• Banking relations with local and regional banks as it relates to setting-up, maintaining, and monitoring accounts, bank facilities, and financings;

• Ongoing tax optimization and all communications with tax advisors and relative tax authorities;

• Management of financial models and forecasts, yearly budgets, and financial dashboards and reports;

• Setting up an effective financial reporting system and internal controls according to best practices and compliant with GAAP and rules for financial and tax reporting;

• Exercise all efforts to monitor and maintain healthy cash flow by monitoring, managing, and controlling working capital; • Support and facilitate external audits.

• Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills (including strong financial modeling skills and advanced use of Excel); • Have a “no task too big, no task too small” attitude;

• Be a hands-on, self-starter who works well in a team environment with strong project management skills, and the ability to network across the company to get things done.

• Fluency in Arabic and English. • An entrepreneurial approach to business and an understanding of the challenges and opportunities of working in a high growth early-stage company;

• Extremely strong written, verbal, and presentation skills;

• Confident team player.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Finance

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar position with some management experience

• Holding financial qualifications such as CFA, CMA, or others

• Financial modeling and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
