German Jordanian University is looking to hire
Vacancy Network Coordinator at the International Office with Vice
Presidency for International Affairs/ German Jordanian University (local
employment, full time)
Starting date: January 2017
The German Jordanian University, founded in 2005, has established a network of more
than 110 partner universities in Germany. To further improve the network activities GJU is
looking for a new member of staff with the following responsibilities:
Organization of GJU network activities (annual meetings, conferences, visits)
Introduction of a new network data base
Main contact person for all GJU network partners (academic staff of GJU partner
universities)
Coordination of all activities with GJU Project Office Magdeburg
Regular trips to Germany according to network activities
File und homepage management
Administration and documentation regarding all network affairs
Prerequisites:
Bachelor’s Degree
Experience in administrative work
Language skills: Very good German Language Skills (preferably mother tongue);
very good English Language Skills; Arabic Language Skills are an asset
Good knowledge of MS family (Word, Excel & Outlook)
Willingness to work with the International Office team; high motivation; ability to
work under pressure
