Accountabilities & Key Roles :

• Responsible for Global Network Security Control, focusing on the state of the network security with compliancy testing, penetration testing, vulnerability testing, etc.
• Specialized in network security compliance monitoring, focusing on events and the response with log monitoring, SIEM administration and incident response.
• Participate in the development framework for network security policies.
• Participate in the development of network security standards set by ITSM in coordination with ISD.
• Provide efficient, robust, reliable security control.
• Apply independent second level review and validation for sufficiency and proper closure of network security related incidents.
• Member of security incident response desk.
• First line response for network security incidents and forensic investigation.
• Participate in security sophisticated network forensic Investigation.
• High involvement in Network security testing, and building up extensive monitoring role.
• Participate in producing Network security compliance reports and dashboards.
• Continuous follow up on closure of identified network security gaps.
• Escalation of detected network security breaches.
• Participate in internal/external network security scans.

Job Requirements:

Education:

Bachelors degree computer engineering from a recognized university.

Experience:  

• Experience in network security logs and events monitoring.
• 5 years of experience in network security, developing and maintaining network security policies and procedures.
• Experience in monitoring potential network security threats and compliance requirements.
• Experience in investigating and reporting network security issues, exposures, threats and recommending mitigation action.

Competencies: 

• Fluent in English and Arabic .
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving/root cause analysis skills.
• Knowledge of network common vulnerabilities.
• Basic Knowledge of Network forensics and investigations.
• Network security qualifications such as CISSP, CCIE, CCIE Security, CCNP, & CEH.
• Strong Interpersonal & presentation skills.
• Strong technical writing and editing skills.
• Good understanding of IT technologies, ex. security, applications, interfaces, databases, operating systems, hardware, servers etc…
• Basic know how of the banks overall architecture and infrastructure.
