BIMTEC is a reputable Engineering Company working based on BIM Technologies is seeking to hire
MEP Engineer
Job Location: Amman – Jordan
Limited Contract: 3 Months with a possibility to be renewed.
Duties and Responsibility:
• Developing 3D models of MEP systems in multi-disciplinary projects.
• Develop reports, layouts, specifications, and detailed construction drawings/documents.
• Collaborate in coordination activities, including resolution of design issues.
• Support value engineering activities.
• Support project management through training and guiding subordinates.
• Maintain operations by enforcing project and operational policies and procedures of its subordinates.
• Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
• Maintain project database by writing computer programs; entering data; completing backups.
• Actively collaborate with production and operations management for research & development activities.
• Support technical sales on budgeting and technical materials production.
Qualifications:
1) Educational Background:
Reputable BSc certification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
2) Minimum Requirements:
• 2 to years 6 of applicable experience with working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing construction procedures and practices.
• Autodesk AutoCAD
• Autodesk Revit
• Autodesk Navisworks
• Analysis Tools
• Design Skills
• Database Design
Ability to program routines or software add-ins is considered a plus. Proven experience in the main disciplines of project management is desired, namely leadership, planning and controlling.
