ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Scope of Work:
This assessment will aim to identify service-delivery utilization gaps, and to analyze how relevant trends regarding problems/stressors affecting adults and children, individual, familial and community coping mechanism and help-seeking behavior within the Syrian refugees and host population community have changed and or evolved in the last 5 to eight years.
The main following questions will be addressed:
  • In regards of MHPSS service availability and access among the Syrian refugees and the host population, how did it change in the last five to eight years?
  • In regards of the major stressor factors among the Syrian refugees and the host population, how have they changed in the last five to eight years?
  • In regards of individual, familial and community coping mechanisms among the Syrian refugees and the host population, how have they changed in the last five to eight years?
  • In regards of help-seeking behavior among the Syrian refugees and the host population, how did it change in the last five to eight years?
The methodology to be used will be agreed by the consultant research in consultation with IMC.
It is expected that the research will include:
  • Literature review
  • Available data collected in the last five to eight years
  • Review of policy documents
  • Key-informant’s interviews
  • Focus group discussion
As for the outputs, the assessment aims at:
  • An analysis of the before mentioned trends and how they have changed in the last five to eight years.
  • Identify new gaps or new trend to be addressed
  • Recommendation regarding future priorities and/or best practice to be replicates
The assessment will take place between January 2019 and March 2019. A clear timeframe is expected to be draft by the consultant.
DELIVERABLES
  • Detailed work plan
  • Contact sheet of participating stakeholders
  • Deliver final report to IMC
  • Participation and presentation of findings to relevant interagency working groups.
  • At completion of project, provide IMC with assessment material and field notes.
Qualifications Required:
  • Master’s degree or PHD in Mental health, psychology, or any related field Minimum 10 years of experience in Mental health field

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Scope of Work:
Ensuring general functioning of the pharmacy and supervising pharmacy supply chain processes in accordance with IMC standards, protocols and procedures, in order to ensure its efficiency and operating availability.
Accountabilities:
  1. Stock management:
  • Ensuring optimum storage conditions for the medical stock in accordance with IMC guidelines. This includes implementing or continuing quality controls and records to comply with good storage conditions in the facility (Temperature, Humidity and Light exposure). The Pharmacy supervisor will ensure compliance with the protocols and SOPs as well as raise alerts in case of any conflict with national regulations for stock management.
  • Coordinating the delivery, reception and recording of pharmacy orders, in close coordination with the logistics department, updating stock files and informing line managers on their status (shortfalls, over-stocking, expiry dates), in order to permanently ensure security stock levels and ensure efficient management of stock.
  • Ensuring spot checks, weekly partial inventories and monthly full inventory in accordance with the IMC guidelines and updating the inventory record into Pharmacy Information Management System (PIMS).
  • Recording all items received and issued in computer (PIMS) and reporting on drug consumptions and medical equipment dispensed according to protocols, informing on unusual patterns as well as forecasting future needs, in order to rationalize the budget and to ensure availability.
  • Keeping records of GIOs, Waybills, GRNs documents for all medical supplies related processes in Pharmacy.
  • Anticipating any potential shortages of drugs and medications and informing the Clinic Manager and alerting the Pharmacy manager to meet the needs.
  1. Management of End User Units: 
  • Ensuring appropriate order periodicity for the end user units and optimizing the supply to the units.
  • Ensuring Standardized drug list for the end user units in collaboration with the clinic manager and under the guidance of pharmacy manager.
  • Ensuring weekly inventory at the end user units and supporting the staff in generating the order to the pharmacy.
  • Monitoring and analyzing orders of depending end user units in order to avoid ruptures of stock or having expired drugs.
  1. Rational Drug Use: 
  • Supporting the Clinic Manger in conducting prescription audit when needed.
  • Following the trend of consumptions in the facility and alerting the Clinic Manager in case of any deviations from the normal trend.
  • Monthly reporting on special medications including Antibiotics.
  1. Administrative Management: 
  • Supervising, with the HR department, the associated processes (sizing, staff shifts, recruitment, training, performance evaluation, development and internal/external communication) of the pharmaceutical team, in order to ensure both the sizing and the amount of knowledge required and to improve their dispensing capabilities.
  • Assisting in training of nursing staff regarding dispensing of drugs and their side effects
  • Prepare the monthly schedule for Pharmacists.
  • Manage the related team administratively including leave plan preparation, schedule changes, staff attendance and staff appraisal in coordination with referral team supervisor.
  • Continue self-education to adhere with national/international standards and new advancements in the field of general practice and other relevant medical areas
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor degree in Pharmacy
  • Not less than 3 years of experience
  • NGOS experience is preferred

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Hospital Pharmacy Supervisor is primarily responsible for the overall management of pharmaceuticals in Azraq Camp Hospital. S/He is responsible to request medications from Azraq Camp warehouse, making sure that received medications are stored safely & properly, record them with regular inventories. Monitor the rational drug use & consumption, and used with appropriate recording and reporting.
Scope of Work:
  • Manage the pharmaceutical stock in the Hospital Pharmacy, arrange stock by category and in alphabetical order, with the earliest expiring stock at the front of the shelf and the first in first out techniques “FEFO”
  • In coordination with the Warehouse supervisor/officer, record the receipt and distribution of MOH-Vaccines & GIK medicine ,ensuring that all documentation is complete and accurate
  • Receive the orders from the supplier and inspect items (do the Q.C), as to quality, quantity, and expiry dates. Provide the supplier with feedback in case of irregularity
  • Ensure that all medicine and medical supplies are stored per the manufacturers recommendations
  • Ensure the daily, weekly, and monthly reports are submitted to the Country Pharmacy Manager.
  • Carry out physical inventory count, as required.
  • Together with the Hospital Pharmacist Team, conduct inventory control of pharmacy on a regular basis
  • To make sure to work in full coordination and cooperation with all Hospital departments and Pharmacy team members; to ensure an excellent quality service providing to the patients/refuges
  • Ensure supply different hospital wards, communicate & keep the wards in-charge update regarding to the stock inventory, and monitor the expiry & stock of medications.
  • To comply with & enhance the team work spirit in the pharmacy department
  • Ensure the implementation of Jordan MOH clinical policies, tools, guidelines and UNHCR pharmacy manual for rational use of medications.
  •  Monitor the supply quantity, expiration dates and quality of medicines and medical supplies
  • Notify the Country Pharmacy Manager in advance  in case of a high consumption and/or over prescribed medications that may lead to low stock or stock out
  • Monitor the pharmacy’s and drug store temperature daily & record it in order to ensure all items are kept at the appropriate temperature
  • Work closely with Referral Doctor & Referral Officers regarding to the Exceptional Approval Mediation “EAM” ; prepare the EAM sheet , dispense &/or provide the EAM for the beneficiaries. Share the sheet & updates on weekly & monthly basis.
  •  Provide technical oversight and remote management support for field facilities; on request.
  • Accountable for accurate tracking of hospital pharmacy & hospital wards on a daily & monthly basis to ensure availability of up-to-date and accurate information
  • Directly supervise hospital pharmacist team to ensure day-to-day tasks & objectives are completed successfully and compliance standards are met.  Discuss job expectations, set objectives and provide appropriate and timely feedback regarding performance
  • In collaboration Country Pharmacy Manager, compile and develop training and orientation materials and guides for Pharmacy staff related to pharmacy management guideline.
Qualifications:
  • B.Sc. degree in Clinical Pharmacy “Doctor of Pharmacy”
  • At least 3 years working experience as a Clinical Pharmacist in known Hospital (tertiary health care facility)
  •  “License to practice issued by MOH” & “Active” membership from JPA
  • Past experience with INGO is preferable.
  • Carry BLS or ACLS certified/membership; will consider added value
  • Good knowledge in Health information management, data flows, information analysis and reporting.
  • The ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedure
  • The ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • The ability to work under pressure and with limited resources
  • Strong interpersonal, team working, negotiation and leadership skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to coordinate and manage a diverse array of responsibilities
  • Flexibility. Proven team player with ability to cultivate and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and other organizations.
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations diplomatically with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in mentoring/ capacity building of staff and commitment to staff training and development.
  • Strong leadership qualities and willingness to exercise initiative. Ability to set an example of leadership for staff
  • Proficient in computer applications, especially with MS Word, Excel, Power Point a plus.
  • Excellent command in Arabic and English
