We are presently looking for a Content Writer to join our Content team. This role is responsible for our online video metadata, a key part of the Gracenote video data ingestion platform, consuming data from the digital catalogs of media outlets like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, and iTunes and preparing that data for curation by Gracenote’s editorial teams. Companies like Comcast, Google, and Apple rely on Gracenote video metadata to power their products for millions of customers around the globe.

Overall Responsibilities

Responsible for writing the content descriptions and synopsis in English & Arabic for programs which are telecast on television across genres like movies, TV shows, sports matches, documentaries etc.

The program description needs to be written as per the guidelines and best standards maintained by Gracenote

Also be responsible for searching for the content online and by other secondary sources and then re-writing the description in their own words
-
Addition of content metadata like star cast details, keywords, trailers etc

Write the Profile/Biography of celebrities, movie stars and TV personalities within given character limits
Must haves:

Computer Skills

Good knowledge of MS Office

Internet savvy ; good search skills

Having handled social media platforms like Facebook, twitter etc. would also be an advantage.

English Language: Knowledge of English (speaking, reading, and writing) is mandatory.

Arabic Language: Knowledge of Arabic (speaking, reading, and writing) is mandatory for Jordanian Nationals.
