Talent Acquisition Specialist
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the candidate experience ensuring all candidates are treated like customers of the business.
- Establish recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives; meeting with HOD’s and market mapping new geographies to source/ headhunt Rock Stars form a cross the globe.
- Have a deep understanding manpower planning and work directly with finance department
- Determine applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
- Provide information about Souq.com to candidates and promote benefits of a career.
- Attract applicants by placing job advertisements, using groups and sourcing from job sites.
- Screening prospective candidates to verify their qualifications, experience, skills, and background, and presenting qualified candidates to hiring managers for their consideration.
- Scheduling and coordination of interviews between the hiring manager and the candidate – obtaining feedback to attract best talent.
- Establishing a pipeline of qualified referrals and candidates for additional openings.
- Communicating with applicants and passive job seekers through email, phone and Social Media sites.
- Drafting and posting job openings to job boards, having a deep understanding of IT terms and technology.
- Managing the end to end selection which would include collating CVs from various channels, screening, interviewing and short-listing based on the JD of the vacancy.
- Handle offer negotiations & contract management.
- Responsible for the pre & post joining formalities.
- Conducting induction of the new joiners in order to ensure they are properly incubated in the organization.
- Provide weekly, monthly reports on hiring status.
- Training Line Managers and HOD on recruitment process
- Keeping detailed records of all candidates and requisitions
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 5-6 years of experience in Recruitment (all levels)
- Solid understanding of Linkedin Recruiter – completing Linkedin recruiter training
- Bachelor’s Degree; preferably in HR
- Competency Interviewing Skills
- Knowledge of the Labour Laws in the markets where Souq.com operates
- Project Management Skills
- Exposure in reporting (data analysis, presentation)
